The first quarter of 2011 is now complete and Pelagian is continuing to supply services to the renewable energy and telecommunications industries across a range of projects worldwide.

Pelagian personnel are currently supporting cable route surveys and installations, providing permit and agreement acquisition expertise throughout the Middle East, West and East Africa, the Mediterranean, North America, the Atlantic, Japan and Australasia on a number of large-scale fibre optic cable projects.  These are interesting and challenging assignments where our expertise and experience has contributed to our client’s ability to maintain smooth progress in alignment with operational plans.

Our skilled staff are also providing operational advice and quality management to a major European power cable project and several UK based Windfarm Projects. In addition, our provision of back deck personnel to cable installations on wind farm projects in the North Sea endures despite some installation delays due to adverse weather

African cable route survey projects formed the majority of work for our offshore representatives through the 1^st quarter, and now we see that projects are moving to the Americas, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and North Africa.

Pelagian will be exhibiting at several key events in the next couple of months:

AWEA – Anaheim California USA, 21^st -27^th May

Renewable UK – Offshore Wind 2011 – Liverpool,  29^th -30^th June.
